How to Bypass Windows 10 Password with Linux Mint CD

This tutorial will walk you through the steps to bypass Windows 10 password with Linux Mint CD.

If you've forgotten your Windows 10 password, there's no need to panic. With a little bit of work, you can bypass the password and log into your account.

One way to do this is with a Linux Mint CD. Linux Mint is a free and open-source operating system based on Ubuntu. You can download a Linux Mint ISO file and burn it to a CD or USB drive.

Once you have the Linux Mint CD, boot your computer from it. On the Linux Mint login screen, select "Other." Enter "root" as the username and leave the password blank.

Once you're logged in, open a terminal window and enter the following commands:

cd /media/cdrom0

mkdir windows

mount /dev/sda1 windows

This will mount your Windows partition on the Linux Mint CD.

Next, you'll need to copy the Kon-Boot files to the Windows partition. Kon-Boot is a program that allows you to bypass the Windows password. You can download it for free from the Kon-Boot website.

Once you have the Kon-Boot files, copy them to the Windows partition with the following command:

cp -r kon-boot-* windows

Now, unmount the Windows partition and reboot your computer.

When the Kon-Boot screen appears, select the Windows 10 option. Kon-Boot will bypass the password and log you into your account.

Once you're logged in, you can change your password by going to the Control Panel and selecting "User Accounts."

If you don't want to use Kon-Boot, you can also reset your password with a Linux Mint live CD. To do this, boot from the Linux Mint CD and select "Try Linux Mint."

Once Linux Mint is up and running, open a terminal window and enter the following commands:

sudo -s

passwd

Enter your new password when prompted.

Once you've reset your password, reboot your computer and log in with your new password.

If you don't have a Linux Mint CD, you can also use a Ubuntu live CD. The process is similar to the one described above.

If you don't have a live CD, you can also create a bootable USB drive with Linux Mint. Once you have the USB drive, follow the instructions in this article to boot from it.

Once you're logged in, you can use the same commands as above to reset your password.

If you don't want to use Linux Mint, you can also use another live CD, such as Trinity Rescue Kit. Trinity Rescue Kit is a free and open-source live CD that can be used to reset passwords.

To use Trinity Rescue Kit, boot from the live CD and select "Trinity Rescue Kit." Once TRK is up and running, select "Password resetting" and then "winpass."

Enter the username of the account you want to reset the password for and TRK will reset the password.

Once you've reset the password, reboot your computer and log in with the new password.

There are a few other methods you can use to bypass a Windows 10 password, but these are the most common. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment below.
